If you have full coverage on your auto policy, you will have Comprehensive Coverage. That means your car will be covered for things that might happen to it other than collision. Things like vandalism, hail storm, flood, theft and fire are covered by Comprehensive coverage. Usually a comprehensive claim doesn't make your insurance go up but the company can limit how many you can have in a give period of time or you may lose your claim-free discount. You will probably have to pay a deductible of between $100 and $500.
